Most of us use extension tubes and macro lenses separately for our close-up photography needs. As regular readers will know, I like to push my camera gear to see what will happen. This article features a selection of hand-held images captured by combining an M.Zuiko 60 mm f/2.8 macro lens with extension tubes. M.Zuiko MC-20 Teleconverter
This week my M.Zuiko MC-20 Teleconverter arrived from Olympus Americas. This short article provides some initial impressions on this piece of gear. Also included is a selection of images captured using this teleconverter. The M.Zuiko MC-20 teleconverter weighs 150 grams (~5.3 oz). It measures 59.8 mm in diameter (~2.4 inches) x 25.9 mm in length (~1.0 inch).
Niagara Parkway Challenge
On occasion I like to create some photographic challenges for myself. Today I decided that I would venture out to a familiar area and allow myself only one photograph for each stop that I made. The challenge included being limited to one camera and one lens. I also set a time limit of one hour during which to capture all of my images. So… I grabbed a camera and headed out for my Niagara Parkway challenge.

High ISO ETTR Test
Before we get into this article I’d like to thank one of our readers, Motografia, for providing the creative spark for this article. During a recent visit to Bird Kingdom I decided to try a high ISO ETTR test. The term ETTR stands for ‘expose to the right’. This is a somewhat controversial technique in which a photographer purposely exposes an image ‘to the right’ in order to maximize highlight details.
In-Flight Eagle
